The Bon Ami Festival originated in Dalhousie New Brunswick. In 2023 Dalhousie became part of the district of Heron Bay along with the neighbouring communities of Dalhousie Junction, Point la Nim, Charlo, New Mills, Blackland, Seaside and Benjamin River. Heron Bay lies within the County of Restigouche. We are located where the Restigouche River flows into the Bay of Chaleurs. The Appalachian Mountains frame our skyline to provide stunning sunsets and sunrises. When you are not enjoying festival events, take some time to enjoy the view from one of our beautiful beaches or scenic walking trains.
